Buffalo Soy Curl Subs

Ingredients

Buffalo Sauce

  • ¾ cup Frank’s Red Hot Sauce
  • ¾ cup soy milk
  • 2 tablespoons sugar or maple syrup
  • 1 tablespoon Apple Cider Vinegar
  • 1 ½ teaspoons onion powder
  • 1 ½ teaspoons garlic powder
  • 1 ½ teaspoons paprika
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

Buffalo Sauce

  • Combine all ingredients in a pint jar and shake until combined. Refrigerate until ready to use.

Buffalo Soy Curls

  • Place the soy curls, buffalo sauce and water in a slow cooker and stir together. I used my 3 quart cooker.
  • Cook on high setting for about 3 hours.

To Assemble the Sandwiches

  • Toast the sandwich rolls under the broiler.
  • Remove from oven and pile on the soy curls.
  • Add tomato slices and lettuce leafs.
  • Drizzle with a generous amount of Vegan Ranch Dressing.
